This Honu painting was inspired by my trip to Maui in April 2023 where I saw four Honus while snorkeling. It wasn't my first time swimming with Hawaii's majestic and wise sea turtles, but seeing four within a few minutes and feeling their peaceful energy left a lasting impression on me.
