Artist Statement
My artwork is an expression of my own healing from a traumatic upbringing. As a result, it has become a catalyst to bring healing to others. When we heal our own wounds, we shape a more whole and compassionate world.
Visual Healing Artist
As a multifaceted Visual Healing Artist, I create vibrant and ethereal portrayals of nature that blend realism with a touch of whimsy, expressed through acrylic, oil and pastel. Although, I sensed my artistic calling as a child, I dismissed the possibility of pursuing art professionally. Instead, I followed more conventional paths, helping build other people’s dreams, while my own creative fire quietly simmered beneath the surface.
Over the years, that inner pull remained strong. When the timing finally aligned, the doors opened gently, inviting me back to the calling I had set aside. What was long suppressed came pouring out. Whether these desires were mine or guided by something greater, God, Spirit, or the Divine, they awakened with clarity, and intuition became my compass.
My Art Journey
At first, I believed I was creating art to bring healing to others. I soon discovered that the healing began with me. The creative process became a sanctuary, where long‑held wounds were softened, transformed and released. The energy embedded in that process is what others now feel, when they encounter my work.
Beauty is central to my creative purpose. It has the power to awaken hope, calm the nervous system and remind us of what is still good, sacred and possible. Many collectors describe my work as beautiful, and I believe that beauty itself is the core of the healing they experience.
Artwork for Your Sanctuary
Symbols emerged naturally in my early pieces, beginning with a hidden angel and heart in a hummingbird painting. Hearts, spirals and infinity symbols became recurring elements in my work. These symbols hold energetic wisdom: reminders of love, abundance and our divine design. They invite viewers to “Find the Hearts in My Art,” not only visually, but emotionally and spiritually.
My intuitive work invites connection between heart and mind, body and soul, self and Source. It offers a moment of pause, a breath, a return to inner truth.
My artwork has been displayed at Lagunart.com Gallery (formerly at The Shops in Mission Viejo), The Potocki Center for the Arts in Mission Viejo, City of Hope Hospital in Irvine and Newport Mesa Wellness Center in Newport Beach. In each of these spaces, my intention has remained the same: to bring comfort, connection and healing.
