Inspired by a 2022 journey through Costa Rica. its iridescent wings left an imprint on my spirit, as it fluttered quietly in the background of my creative mind until the moment arrived.
In 2025, after what felt like a long, sacred sleep, I experienced a profound inner shift, a soul stirring, a transformation. That is when the butterfly returned, not just as a memory, but as a muse. Painting it became an act of remembrance and renewal. Each brushstroke felt like waking up, like reclaiming light that was waiting patiently within me.
